Ferring research infertility and gynaecology grant (FRIGGA)
Ferring Pharmaceuticals is proud to launch its second international grant for fundamental fertility and gynaecology research - FRIGGA 2010. Researchers across the wrold have the opportunity to apply for one of two €50,000 grants. An international group of world class experts will once again form the judging panel. Two winning research institutions will be selected for their outstanding proposals for fundamental research to help gain an increased understanding of the assisted reproduction.
The research grant is a themed, biennial initiative. The inaugural grant was launched in 2008 and first awarneded research projects are du to be completed by January 2010.
The 2020 award theme is: Reducing multiple pregnancies following infertility treatment.
The announcement of the winners will take place at the 2010 ESHRE meeting in Rome (27 - 30 June 2010).
The grant is named after Frigga, the goddess of fertility, motherhood, love, family and home from the Scandinavian mythology.
