Study to identify biomarkers in endometriosis

If you have pelvic pain and need to undergo surgery you may qualify to participate in a study to identify possible biomarkers in women with endometriosis.

Researchers at Oxford University are seeking female volunteers to participate in a research study looking at potential markers in endometriosis.

To qualify for the study you need to be

  • about to commence surgical treatment for endometriosis and/or pelvic pain
  • between the age of 18 and the menopause
  • otherwise healthy

The study involves participants giving blood, urine, saliva samples, and possibly tissue samples at surgery.

By participating in this study YOU would be helping to move the field of endometriosis forward in terms of improving our understanding of the disease.
